angleigh Posted June 9, 2006 Share Posted June 9, 2006 Here's a way you can tell if they are layered or not. If the preview just shows a solid black template then they are not layered. If you see the multi colored one (like the one you are asking about) these are the layered version, which basically means each different colored piece is it's own file then you add them together to make your template. I use my magic wand to select item on the layer and then open up my paper or photo and select from there. There are probably many ways to achieve the same result, I know we must have tutorials for them in the university and each includes instructions. I am so excited about the layers. I could copy and paste one layer onto a completely different template, couldn't I? the possibilities are endless!
