:walkinghelmet: My youngest son, David, who is in the Navy (last 14 years) is finally getting to come home for leave after 1-1/2 years. He has been in El Salvador fighting the "war on drugs" and was in Bahrain/Iraq :superhero: prior to that for two years. That was his 4th tour in the Middle East during his career. He was previously on Aegis destroyers until his last deployment there and that was "on land" running security while taking people in and out of Baghdad. I am very thankful he is out of there, but where he is now is just as bad...they have the MS-13 drug group there and he also goes into Columbia. But, I thought I would share this with my SG family and ask for prayers for a safe return Friday! This is one happy Mom! :giggle_bear: Thanks and I might also put this on the prayer board maybe....God Bless! :thankyou:

Yvonne,

Praises that David is coming home on leave. You mentioned that he was previously on an Aegis ship. My DH is retired Navy, and after retiring worked for GE govt. services when they were developing the Aegis system. It's a small world isn't it. Enjoy your time with your son, and God bless both of you.
