My Epson CX 5400 has been giving me fits with blockes ink jets for months. We nursed it through the spring and have been using my college DD's HP while she has been home this summer. She's leaving in a couple of weeks and we need to break down and buy the printer. DH is not interested in another Epson for fear it'll have the same problem. I hate to think of buying an HP because it really seems to guzzle ink.

What do you have and love? Are the Canons any good? I love my Canon camera, but don't know about the printers.

I am looking at an all-in-one so I can give the Epson the heave-ho. I do some photo printing, but not too much. I'd like to be able to print good photos if I want to.

thanks for your input.

lots of good printers out there. LOL I most certainly would think about a purchasing a brother, single cartigrages (sp? LOL) and dirt cheep. Whata re you printing and how much you wan to spend? Go check out like office max office depot and them they always have a good printer cheep. then I would check out what sams and costco has
Good luck

I got a junkie lexmark that cost 35 bucks but for my printing it is a great 3in1 printer and ink is really cheep like 12 and 15 bucks. Walmart special and I think it is about almost 2 years old now I cna't complain.

I've got my eye on a Canon--wireless printing, 3-in-one, card slots, regular price $179, but I can get it for $86 with rebate and a Staples Rewards check that just came in the mail. Don't know if anything can top that right now, but I want to know if anyone has had trouble with Canon.

I love my Canon ip4500. I did a lot of research before I purchased it and now that I have it, I can say that I am completely satisfied. The prints are amazing. The ink is not bad at all. The cartridges last a long time. It can use any paper which helps save money because you can buy it when it is on sale. The ink has been tested to go 100 years without fading (something like that).

I highly recommend it.
