MJ, I'm with you. I want you to prove them wrong too. I really, really want you to have the life you want. I'm here with you. Let's get fit & healthy & uppity together. ICU nurses rock the world.
Jan, we all knew you would do great. I'm so glad you crossed that line strong. WTG. Now I have a new goal to reach too. You are inspirational.
Dawn, it sounds like you are having a great time with your new bike. How wonderful that you're encouraging the love of riding in your daughter too. Yay for both of you.
I was called in to work today. We have several nurses out ill. I did Fat Blaster and AB burner before I went. My abs hurt when I laugh. It's great.
My goal for tomorrow is Lean Circuit 2.

Steph - that is amazing how you are able to make the workouts fit in with your unusual and never guaranteed workday... Kudos to you!
MJ - the strengthening of your back will make your life so much more comfortable! I am proud of you for working through the pain to see the comfortable life style in the future!
Jo Ellen - I am a morning workout person too, if I wait to long, it won't be found in my day. I am making sure I am taking my vitamins and getting my sleep so I am ready and wanting to work out! I am cheering you on for AM workouts!!!
V- are you keeping track on a chart on how many miles you are walking? I bet you would shock yourself on how many miles total you are walking. My kids are participating in a kids marathon and they have to keep track of how many miles they run so by time the marathon is here, they run the last mile on the course.
T and Jan - you are our inspiration! Thank you!!!!
Hugs and Blessings!
Dawn
PS - sorry if I missed anyone...

Mary Jo, I'm so proud of you working out when you have such pain. I hope that it pays off for you.
Saturday I got in 35 minutes walking in two segments (walking to and from our parking place to the hockey arena.) Sunday there wasn't a spare minute to get a walk in. I was up until 5 am Sunday morning making my granddaughter's birthday cake and getting ready for the Quote Challenge Chat so I would be able to make it to church.
We managed to not get the precipiation expected today so I got a 52 minute walk in. We sent the leftover pizza and birthday cake home with the kids last night, but I still have the ice cream left. Gonna have to be careful about that temptation.

Tomorrow I'm going to start Rev Abs. They have a 14 day slim down plan that you can do where you don't eat any starches or sugars, and very little (preferably no) dairy during that time, in order to shed the fat so you can see those abs that you're building. The plan calls for eating 1100-1200 calories a day. I'm not sure I can eat that little, since my metabolism is really roaring, but I'm hoping to get by on 1300-1500 a day and shed some of this that I've gained back. I actually gained while running, because I haven't been as careful as I needed to be with my eating. My excuse was that I knew I was burning tons of calories, so I ate. Gotta stop that and get back on track.
Looking forward to starting the new program, though. And adding in running, too, after this 14 day low calorie period is over.

Dawn, congratulations on getting the Shape Ups! Hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoy mine!
Pat, great walking! Keep it up and your numbers will be even better the next time you check them.
Laurie, good for you for sticking with it! Life always seems to have something getting in the way, doesn't it?
Jan, I look forward to hearing about your new program. I've seen the previews and wonder how it compares with Insanity, not that I'm contemplating going there any time soon!
Keep up the good work, everyone!

Laurie, congratulations on getting your workout in!
Jan, I'll have to take another look at RevAbs. I may have been thinking of one of the other previews I've seen.
Hope everyone's having a great day!

Awesome job everyone for sticking with your programs.
Jan, is Rev Abs solely for the abs? Could it be added to CE?
My last workout was on Sunday. I'm going in for an outpatient surgery today and I didn't want to have sore muscles. I'm restricted from exercising for the next 5 days.
My goal is to restart the Lean Circuit on Tuesday.

The weather is continuing to cooperate with me for walking outside. I did 40 minutes around the neighborhood yesterday but also had to walk quite a ways to get from parking lot to conference center for a harp symposium I went to yesterday.
I've been diligent about making time for the aerobic exercise but am having a hard time making myself find the time for doing strength training. Just need to put my mind to it!

I'm on week four of P90X. I can't wait to take photos after the 30 days because I can't believe the change. I actually did 15 push ups on my toes on Monday! Soooooo psyched! I weigh in tomorrow and I am hoping that I have fallen below the 120 mark. I was 120.8 last Thursday!
Anyone having any issues with their workouts? Be sure to let us know here!! We'll try to help you as best we can!
NEW PRODUCT ALERT!! Jello 60 calorie pudding cups with Live Active Pro-Biotic! In Dark Chocolate and Milk Chocolate versions...YUM!!

I did 2.7 miles walking yesterday in 56 minutes and 2.25 miles today in 46.
I dug out a pedometer that I bought a couple of years ago. It was a very inexpensive one. I hadn't ever gotten around to setting it up because the instructions were obviously translated from another language (probably Chinese) and they are rather difficult to follow. I also had to convert my weight to Kg and my stride length to cm. Got that done yesterday. I had counted how many steps I do in a minute a few days ago and the pedometer seems to agree pretty closely. It makes an audible click with every step so I probably won't be wearing it for other than walking. I probably don't do more than about 1000 additional steps during the day unless I go out shopping, so I'm going to have to work to get up to the 10,000 recommended. I did 6000 yesterday and 4800 today.
