I have a granddaughter that my husband and I haven't been allowed to see. I have made LOs using her pictures that others have sent me. We sent her a scrapbook. I make sure that I keep the journaling very short because the parents might not show her the scrap book. But I was so excited when I woke up and realized that I can hide my messages for her behind the pictures and if she comes to see us when she is grown then I can show her the messages----i don't know why, but I am so happy that I can tell her what a beautiful little girl she is and how I would love to hold her and smooch her all over. Scrapgirls has made a way that I can have a relationship with my granddaughter even if it takes years to unveil.

Oh Dixie, I have tears in my eyes. I love your idea and I pray one day you will be able to know each other in person.

Hugs,

Gosh, I am so sorry that you are in this situation. I have two grandchildren I don't get to see very often, but I saw them when they were young. It's just a long distance situation now. I hope things get better for you in the future. For now, take comfort in your scrapbooking her photos. Thank God someone is sending you those.
