Hello y'all!
Thisis my favorite photo of my sweet daughter, but I'm having such a hard time scrapping it. I've tried a thousand things already but nothing seems to work! I'd love to get some suggestions, anything that gets me out of my scrapping block! It's driving me crazy! Thank you so much!

Nadine, was going to take a look, but your link doesn't seem to be working.

Nadine, I couldn't see your photo--I think the link is bad.

Generally, when I am stuck, I use sketches and follow it very closely like a map until I come up w/something I like. Marnie's sketch books are wonderful. Or..I'll browse through a scrap magazine or online gallery here for inspiration to lift.

I know exactly what you are feeling Nadine. I have several photos that are just so special, I'm afraid that what I do won't do it justice. My only advice would be to just start playing with some ideas. That's the beauty of digital. You can dump a whole layout and not be out anything but your time.

I love the lace dress that you(?) are wearing. I might try to incorporate some lace into your background or as an embellishment.

I'm sure whatever you do will be wonderful.

That is a pretty picture.
I think some light pinks and tans would be nice with it.

I think the sketch book is a great idea, or look through the gallery.
I wish I could be more helpful but really just PLAY with it. That is the best advice.

Just play with it till you find something you like is my usual approach. I also like the suggestion of pink and beige. I think softness would work well with that lovely photo.

Wow, that is a great photo. I also love the lace top behind her head. I think I would try cropping the photo so she is most of the frame, take it to B&W then recolor her flower. Then I would play with pastel flowers and lace embellishments. Maybe even lace letters.

Just my thoughts.

Let us see what you come up with.

I agree with what has been said..crop in (and maybe use a warming filter) and use soft pinks and lace. Make sure you post us a link so can we can how it comes out!
