If you are thinking about upgrading - newegg.com has this printer for $404.00 and if you google Epson Rebate, you will find a $150 rebate coupon online. It has a lot of restrictions on where you cannot buy the printer, but newegg is not one of them. The rebate is good through the 30th - my final price for this printer will be $268, about the same as I paid for the 1400. I love a good deal and everything I read about the 1900 states it produces gorgeous prints.
Waiting to find out....

I typically use the luster photo paper for my layouts and matte presentation paper as my cardstock. The colors are very rich, but when you print in PSE or photoshop you have to select the correct type of paper or the color will be off...
I really couldn't be more pleased with my printer. I hope you enjoy yours as well.

I have to replace the gloss optimizer the most often, and then photo black next... but I generally get great life out of my ink.
