Congratulations to our member B & K Mom! She submitted today's challenge and is now collecting her Scrap Girls prize! Email angela@scrapgirls.com to redeem your prize.

The challenge she submitted was:

Are you stuck in a rut with rectangular/square photos on your LOs (I know I am)? Just because they come off the camera that way doesn't mean that have to stay that way. Let's give our photos some shape: circles, flowers, stars, trees, diamonds, even extractions! Any non-rectangular/square shape will do! Using a custom shape and clipping the photo to it is an easy way to give your photo some shape (brushes work for that as well).

Remember, post your layouts here: General Message Board Challenge Gallery

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

You can do be our Friday challenger too.....

Submit your idea to challenges@scrapgirls.com. If your unique challenge idea is chosen, you will win a prize (such as a brush set, paper set, embellishment set, etc.) The prize will be a surprise, but you'll be sure to like it because you will get to pick out the one you like best (from the category you'll be assigned to shop in when you are notified that we are going to use your challenge idea.) Dont forget to include your name here on the messageboard!

I did one! It's okay, but I'm sure they'll get better in time. I tried this once and the link didn't work right. I would like to know how you put it in with just one or two words!?! :-)

you have to use code...there are two ways to do that.

If you are writing it out on your own, put brackets "[ ]" with "url=" and your link inside the brackets. Then your words, such as "link here". Then to end the link there, you have to again put brackets "[ ]" with "/url" in it (that means end url).

Or the easy way....find your link, highlight and copy. Go to your post, write out what you want to write. Highlight the words you want the url linked to, and up above where you write, find the chain link. Click it. The words you highlighted will be in the bottom box. Paste your url that you copied into the top box, and click "insert link". It will then put the code into your post for you just as I explained you could write it up above.

Thank you

I think I understand what you're saying. The only way I'll know for sure is when I try it. lol I do appreciate that you took the time to explain it. Thanks again. :-)

If you have trouble, just say so and I can break it down more for you in terms you for sure will get. I can take screen shots and show you exactly what to do.

Okay, I'll try it. I've added a link to my signature for my gallery to see if it works and I'll add a manual link here to lead to the colour LO that I did, called 'Glory_ous Day'.
