Join me early for the Color Challenge Chat celebrating Digital Scrapbooking Day. We'll talk about color and the magic you can do in digi that you can't do with traditional scrapping. There will be a challenge and also a PRIZE! So be there! 8 am Mountain (9 am Central, 10 am Eastern and 7 am Pacific)

Come color with me! See you soon!

Oh, please post your challenge layouts in the Digital Scrapbooking Day 2009 gallery! Thanks!

CHALLENGE:
In honor of the early morning, I've chosen the colors of the sunrise we had here the other day. It's shown in a gradient (can't do THAT in traditional scrapping), but you can use them by themselves, too. Their numbers are PINK: f194f4 and ORANGE: f9ca67 Use them on a paper, an alpha or embellishment. Go! I've attached the paper I made with the Refresh2 Collection now, too. :)

Thanks for the HUGE turn out this morning! I hope you all figured out the gradient. If not, post me a note here and I'll get in touch with you (my PM box is usually full). I can't wait to see what you create! Gradients are so amazing and fun! And congrats to Tiza for guessing my favorite color. Tell us which Paper Set you decided on! :D

Have a great Digital Scrapbooking Day everyone!

Here's mine! I'm not 100% crazy about it yet, and I could tweak it all day, but gotta get these vacation photos scrapped, so I'm trying to stay as simple as possible. Which is very hard for me since discovering all the bazillion beautiful scrapbook supplies and tools here! I want every page to be a work of art! But I'd also rather have lots of pages done, and not feel too far behind. That way I can take more time on some special ones. Rambling now...sorry.

It's kind of late, but I got mine finally finished. Busy day here- soccer practice, birthday party and neighbor party (for which I was really lame and left by 8:30). But I finished a LO!

Thanks, Zaz, that was me. I was so busy Saturday and now I am really sorry to miss the chat & class.
I have used the gradient tool for backgrounds before, but I like the idea of having the foreground using it too.
Great idea, thank-you.

My layout is in the gallery.
