Got a coupon flier from Costco the other day. November 27-29 $20 off 500 GB Seagate Expansion portable EHD for total price of $79.99 (limit 5). I might have to go check this out. I didn't see these in the store when I was there last week, but maybe a special shipment will be out for the sale.

yeah Caren, but is the 1.5 TB a portable? For a plug in, one for deesktop use and for backing up a larger one is better, but if you're like me, and travel, even just to work and back with a laptop or even my netbook, I need the little portable kind. And for those, $79.99 is a decent price, regularly about $129-159 for 500 GB.Now when they have 2 TB in a little pocket machine, I'd pay dearly for that. LOL.

Sandi - that seems like a good price for a 500 gb. I paid $160 for my 320 almost 2 years ago, and $100 for my 500 in September. Mine are WD, and my desktop EHD is a Seagate. As long as I don't run the autobackup software, it works great.

I might check out the 1.5 so I have double back up on my desktop...
