Christmas letter, though sometimes I tuck it IN a card rather than just mailing it by itself/with a photo.
Last year I designed a 4 x 6 "card" (ie., just the front of a card) using SG supplies and sent that with my letter and a family photo.
I'm not sure yet exactly what I'm doing this year, but I better figure it out for sure soon;)

Christmas cards, and I email them. I know, not very Christmas Spirit like, but I always run out of stamps, and I have no patience for lines.

I used to do both since we don't live near any family. For the last couple of years, though I have just been a 4x6 photo card person. DH has been hinting about doing a letter again this year, but I can't decide.

I don't manage to get cards out every year but did last year and took some photos today that I hope to make into a card for this year. I don't do a holiday letter. I hand write what has been happening in the family to a couple of our friends on our list.

I send out a store bought card with my digitally made card inside of it. (The card I make, has a family picture on it.)

Just a card here, but DH and I don't have kids, so not much of interest to put in a letter...

Well...guess what Julie? This year you don't have to stand in those long lines to buy stamps. You can go here and print stamps using your very own printer! Yeah!

Rosemary, there's no option for..."Hmmmmmm, you mean I'm supposed to send things out to people?" or "I make them every year but never manage to get them into the mail"

I'm definitely a "never get them into the mail" person. I have sent cards with a newsy update by email for the last 2 years.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat with Debbie. Sometimes I get them ready but don't get them mailed. A goal of mine before I die is to get them done, and mailed in time.

I'm a photocard with a newsy (but totally boring news) letter enclosed. As we're a military family on the move, this is the best way for me to keep track of everyone that we've met on our various moves. I LOVE Christmas and getting letters with what people have been up to in them ... makes me feel a bit more connected.
Julie - I have a friend that does all of his Christmas cards/letters through the email and the money he saves on stationery and stamps etc, he donates to a local food bank so that others can have something to eat on Christmas day! I LOVE that idea, but I don't think that my family and friends would like it quite so much ... or maybe they would if they could just hit delete instead of having to tear up my boring letters and cards!!!
Here is my Christmas card for this year ...

Sandi - I'm looking forward to your Christmas letter next year, especially if you make it down to a certain country that I hold dear!! Whatever you're doing - have a good one!
