Christmas Tree of Doom

larger view

You know it, you dread it, it's back... with a Christmas twist! The Tree of Doom is here!
For those of you new to this game, the object is simple. You must correctly identify the items shown in the Christmas tree card image, created from products found in the Scrap Girls boutique!
The Christmas tree card above is made using 14 different papers. The paper designers include:
  • Amanda Sok
  • Angie Briggs
  • Ariadna Wiczling
  • Brandie Valenzuela
  • Caroline Kaiser
  • Erica Hite
  • Jacelen Deinema
  • Keri Schueller
  • Lori Cook
  • Mandy Steward
  • Melanie Johnson
  • Sara Beth Peterson
  • Shalae Tippetts
  • Sheri Johnson
The Christmas tree card has 32 embellishments. Those designers include:
  • Amanda McGee
  • Angie Briggs
  • Angela Blanchard
  • Brandy Hackman
  • Brandy Murry
  • Carrie Stephens
  • Cheré Kaye Edwards
  • Cherise Oleson
  • Cheryl Barber
  • Diane Miller
  • Doris Castle
  • Durin Eberhart
  • Erica Hite --------Jolly Holiday Collection Word Art Freebie "Merry Christmas"
  • Gillian Hurst
  • Jacelen Deinema
  • Jan Hicks
  • Julie White
  • Kerry Veale
  • Kim Meeder
  • Marnie Adams
  • Melissa Renfro
  • Paula Wright
  • Robert Schneider
  • Rozanne Paxman
  • Sarah Batdorf
  • Syndee Nuckles
  • Thao Cosgrove
  • Theresa Kavouras
  • Trish Yochum
  • Ursula Schneider
  • Valerie Randall
To enter the game, send an email SGDecGame@gmail.com with the subject line "Christmas Tree of Doom", and be sure to include your messageboard name and real name. For each item guessed, you must include BOTH the product name and a link to where you can find it in the Scrap Girls boutique. You have until December 31 at Midnight (MST) to enter.
Now don't panic! You don't have to find them all to play the game. (Whew!) But anyone who DOES get them all correct will automatically win a $10 Gift Certificate to the Scrap Girls Boutique! This means more than one person can win a $10 gift certificate. (Anyone this motivated deserves a prize!) The winners of these gift certificates can get in on the rest of the game, too!
For all players:
  • If you get 25 or more correct answers, you will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Gift Certificate!
  • If you get 10-24 correct answers, you will be entered into a drawing for a $10 Gift Certificate!
  • If you get 5-9 correct answers, you will be entered into a drawing for a $5 Gift Certificate!
Have fun and happy hunting!
HINTS: The background paper DOES count, and the drop shadows DO NOT count. Everything is very straight-forward: papers and embellishments only. No brushes, tools, styles, etc. Some designers have more than one element included on this tree!

Hi Everyone! Due to circumstances beyond our control, you now have until Midnight MST January 3rd to get us your Tree of Doom answers! Winners will be announced next week! Happy New Year!

I was waiting for this to make an appearance. Don't know if I'll be able to spend a lot of time on this, but I'll give it my best shot. At least I don't have to get all of the answers. Right??????

I remember getting the names of the designers last year, too - I think it was Janine and her picnic basket who kept us in suspense with that list...;)

I'll give it a try and hope I do better on this one than I did on the quiz, which I sucked big time. roflol

Do I understand this right? We can try for all but will win for whatever category is correct?

So, if I give 46 answers and get 40 right I go into the $25, $10 and $5 drawing, or just the $25? Would I be entered into no drawing becase I went for it all and lost? :-)

I guess I don't understand too good. roflol :-)

heather,

If you find all of them, you get the 10$ GC AND are entered in the +25 correct drawing.

If you only find 20, you are only entered in that catagory.

Also, Even though its a chirstmas tree... its not only christmas things. IE Monkey is not christmas :)

OK, here I go! At least this time I don't have to find ALL of them so I have a chance lol. I am still wondering about the answers to those other two.
A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was,the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child....

Oh, and Heather, the Picnic Basket of Doom was another game like this, for summer or spring. I forget, but you will still find people on the boards who shudder at the mention of the PBOD.

I'm not sure when it was from Heather - I don't have it, either, but when you find the collection it looks like it comes from, you'll know it!

I think Angela is going to have to tell everyone what that is so it will be a "gimme" as one of your entries....

You all are such good sports!

We will put a notice in the newsletter regarding that OOPS i did.

The "merry christmas" word art is by Erica Hite and it coordinates with the "jolly holiday collection"
