If you have a lot of fonts...or plan on having a lot. You can create Font collections and install as you need instead slowing down your system!

I strongly recommend The Font Thing. You can get it here: http://members.ozema...scef/index.html
It is great for font mgmt and its FREE!

It is pretty cool - it lets you see all sorts of info related to the font, too, which is key!

I use it with Windows XP, but I don't think it's the professional version... it's the step down from there and I can't at the moment think of what it's called. Anyway, the point is, it works fine. I think it has just been a while since they updated their website so it doesn't list it as an available windows program, but I haven't had any problems with it!

Thanks, Wendy. I have way too many fonts but when I went to their site it was pretty old info, so I'll add font organization to my list.

Hi, I LOVE the Font Thing. It's the easiest way for me install/uninstall fonts. I also open it to write sample text when I just can't decide which font to use. I have so many fonts installed that it can be overwhelming. With PS CS, I see the sample text which helped and alleviated the need to always open the Font Thing.

I have it installed on XP Professional and have had no problems.

I love The Font Thing:) I just wish it would let me install and uninstall - for some reason my Windows XP wont let it and if I keep trying it crashes my computer - anyone have any ideas about why or how I can make it work?
