I just bought The Bubbles Tool-Action, it's installed and I did make some bubbles, but mine don't look quit right. Can I change colors, are some colors better than others w/this action. Are opacity settings and layer modes import? My Bubble kind of look flat, more like buttons. Any hints or help would be great. I'm even thinking about trying to add color to globes to make them look like bubbles(they look round):) Would a soft brush be better that a hard brush? Is Glorie in a bubble or a glob? May she help me. Oh yah, almost forgot, Imac, 10.5.8, CS3.

You can play around with colors. Like I have indicated in the instructions the result changes slighty depending on where you apply your spot on the page and which color your choose.

'Are opacity settings and layer modes import?' I don't understand what you mean. The bubbles should not look like buttons. I have included images in my instructions where you can exactly compare if the action worked right.

I will PM you!

Oh, and I forgot. To make the bubble more shiny you can to as follows. Duplicate the layer with the final result and apply Mandy Steward's actions ScrapSimple Tools-Styles: Acrylic Bubbles Mini to the top layer. The lower the opacity of the top layer to avoid that the bubbles look too flat. They should still look like a bubble. HTH

If you are looking for round bubbles, like soap bubbles, some can be found in Squirt Embellishment Biggie and Squirt Collection Biggie HTH :)

We got it figured out thanks Theresa. The bubbles in Squirt are actually different than those in my action. They have a twinkling look, very beautiful. The bubbles in my action are soap bubbles too and they are round. Important is that if you apply a style to them to make them twinkle and shine more is to pay attention that the bevel is big and smooth enough to not make them look like bubbles. They are round before another style is applied to them.

I'm BUBBLE HAPPY right now, I have (and know to use) Caroline's Action Bubbles (9901), Brandy's Squirt Embellishment Biggie (Bubbles), and Mandy's Acrylic Bubbles (1809). I'm good to go!!!
