Hi Everyone

I am using PSE 6 and bought some new brushes the other day. Loaded the ABR file into the Presets, used them, loved them, life was good.

Today when I opened PSE, I knew something was up because I now had to choose from Edit, Create, etc. which I have not had to do in ages upon PSE loading.

I went to use one of my new brushes, and it was no longer in the list.

I checked the Presets file, they were there. But just on a whim, I downloaded from Scrapgirls again, and re-copied them into Presets.

Re-booted.

Crossed my fingers...

Still not there.

Any ideas?

OK, just to prevent anyone from thinking this through...

I did a search on my ABR files, and found the 3 miscellaneous brushes in a "Roaming" directory of Preset Brushes...

I have no idea what that "Roaming" directory is, but I copied the 3 missing ABR files from the Preset directory and put them in the Roaming directory as well, closed out PSE, reopened, and there the brushes were...

Now I am off to re-read the Brushes class material...something still sounds fishy to me.

Sandy, that is crazy! I've never heard of a roaming directory! I'm glad that you got it figured out and that they are working now.
