This from Satchel Paige:

How old would you be --- if you didn't know how old you was?

Select one of the above AND then if you'd like tell us your answer :D.

Well, I never know how old I am but I can tell you that right now I would be younger - I knocked off several years by accident for my husband on his birthday this month lol

When I really was younger, I felt so stupid that I had to sit there and calculate my age each time some one asked. So I used to just pick an age and stick with it. I was 25 for several years (before and after the actual age) and then settled in on 28 where I stayed for a long time. Around the time I was turning 45 (and warning my younger sisters that if they were aging normally I was about to be younger than them), my son Aaron realized that I had no real idea of how old I was at any given moment. He thought this was dumb, and then proceeded to tell my true age LOUDLY and OFTEN to everyone he knew, lol. He just left for college along with his reminders, so I am 53 now - and it should be a good couple of years!
A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was,the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child....

You are so funny Marylou. :D I only chose younger because I get told that a lot. Otherwise, I think I look just the age I am 45 almost 46.

Too funny ladies!

I answered "younger." I don't think I act my age. My grown children probably would disagree. ;) People are often surprised at my age when I tell them. They usually think I'm younger. That's pretty cool. I hope it stays that way.

I answered younger - I don't "feel" 49. LOL! But what's 49 supposed to feel like, anyway?

I agree with you Amy. I'd be "younger" too. I don't feel 49....people say I don't look 49.......I feel 29, but don't think I could pass for it! :)

Well I'm actually pretty happy where I'm at right now. But since I had to pick, I chose older because people don't always take me seriously because of my age.

I chose younger because no one believes me when I say I am 30 (soon to be 31.) Honestly, I was glad to finally hit 30. We seem to have been younger than most when we chose to have kids (I was 23 when my oldest was born.) All of his friends parents are older than we are. Also, all our friends and family have kids younger than him. I think I'll just stay 30 for awhile, thank you.

I choose younger, because if I didn't know better, I'd just say I feel as young as I did when I was 20. :D

I miss the worry free times of collage. Sure I thought I was under a lot of pressure of collage. But I had no bills didn't have to worry about kids and what they were doing all the time and other things. Like activities for the kids, birthday parties holidays with kids etc. collage days were good!! It was a time all about me!! LOL guess I miss being selfish!!

I would choose younger, but not much. One thing I don't want to do is grow old & stop learning. I think that is the key to staying young. Also, having a child when I was 32 helped keep me young even though it was strange to see kids I babysat for who had kids in school about the same age as ours. People always say you're as young as you feel. Well, I sure don't feel like I've hit my 60s already! Too bad we can't have the wisdom & knowledge we have now & the body we had when we were starting our families! :happy038:
