After trying to have a 2nd child for 5 years, we've finally done it...and really done it!! Just found out yesterday it's twins, and I couldn't be happier!

So here I am, an "elderly" (38) mom (LOL) ready to have 2 babies! I'm absolutely giddy!

Due date is Sept 4th (6 days before my son's birthday and 18 days before my own

); but twins probably won't make it quite to 40 weeks. I'll do everything I can to get them as close as possible, though!

Anyone have recommendations for a good twins MB?

Congratulations! Twins, how cool is that! I'm so excited for you and pray all goes well! It seems to be a little baby town a brewing here on the MB!

I had my last child at 39, it's all good!

Oh wow twins! How exciting for you !!! Never had twins but I did have 6 children. What I did learn is be organized in everything. That's how I made it through. Lists were a big deal for me. I had them everyday and used them and still do. Get help and lots of it, if someone asks say yes, get your rest but stay active, your health is the most important thing right now. I had my last pregnancy at 36, so you are not "old"!!! What an exciting time for you and your growing family!!!!

Welcome to the world of twins!! We had our twins at 35 (DZ girls), and now with them at 7 it's fun to look back. Must admit...there was a lot of haze and fog in the first bit, but it's an amazing experience. Congrats. Welcome to the twins club! Mine were about a month early, and they just turned 8. Like Debbie said...it's alot of work at first...but it's all worth it!

Oooo...the twins club! lol I agree with Debbie...those first months (that they came home) are fuzzy. lol
Mine came at 30 weeks...I'll pray that yours stay there much longer. (Better that way for everyone.)

Congratulations!!! I have five children--no twins, but two at 22 mos. apart. At the time they felt like twins (or maybe worse, I'm not sure). God bless you all!

In the forum I just posted I found a link to a blog written by a mom who just had her twin sons at home. Wonderful story. My son was born at home 3 years ago.

I use a Canon Rebel T1i and PSE10.

Congrats! That is happy news! Welcome to the twins club. I'm with Deb and Charlene. The first few months were fuzzy, foggy and exhausting! But it's really a blessing to have twins. Mine (boy and girl twins) were born full term, no complications. They are 4 years old now.
