Theresa, thanks for the update. All I can say is to just hang in there. The last few weeks are the hardest, mainly because you're so big! I'll be praying for you to be able to hang on to them for a few more weeks.

Been awhile since I updated here, though I've been current with my pregnancy journal LO's. Things are going ok- with each ultrasound, my little guys brain development looks better and better, so I'm feeling very blessed with that. He'll have an MRI when he's born to get a better look at things, but I'm very hopeful that he'll be just fine.

Meanwhile, here I am at 31 weeks, and I'm dilated to 2 cm already. I'm off work and resting as much as I can; although sometimes it feels like what good is being at home if I can't accomplish anything! Frustrating, but I'll try to stick with mostly gestating with some naps and video games with my son thrown in.

I'm starting to feel a bit like a beached whale. With a marshmallow for a head-very swollen in the face these days. Ah well, the sacrifices we make for our babies! This too shall pass, and I will have two more wonderful wiggly babies to love. I'd say I can't wait, but I certainly hope that I have to for a while yet. It would break my heart to leave the hospital without my babies with me, and that's pretty much what would happen if they were born in the next few weeks.

Many thanks and hugs to those praying for me already, and don't stop now!!

Love- Theresa

Great news Theresa! Keep up the good work with resting! Prayer is a powerful thing!

I've been enjoying your weekly layouts in the gallery. I'm glad to hear your son appears to be improving. I never had twins, but I did that bed rest thing with all four of mine. I read a lot of books. I added up what I read while bed-resting with my 3rd and I read 5000 pages. We didn't have cable or anything though, so I would have been bored stiff if I hadn't had friends bringing me more books. ;) Praying things go well with you!

Lots of prayers that your little ones will wait a little longer. Sing them lots of quiet songs and read them books. Couldn't hurt!!

Sending happy thoughts and prayers your way, Theresa - I'm excited for you - keep resting - I know it's hard to have to do that, but you'll be glad you did. Thanks for keeping us posted - I had been thinking about you lately. Were your ears burning?

Well, folks, my babies are here!

I went in for a non-stress test and never went home. My pumpkins were born Monday evening, and since my sweet little girl was breech again, it was a C-section. We're all doing well. Aiden and Michaela are really small (3lb 15oz and 3lb 4oz respectively), but since we've done 2 rounds of steroids, they are breathing on their own and very healthy for their young age of 34 weeks. They just need to put on some pounds and learn those vital life skills like how to eat, and I'll be taking them home-hopefully between 2 to 4 weeks.

Thank you for all your prayers, and keep them coming. I'll finish my pregnancy journal and get started on my baby album so you can all see the beautiful kiddos!

Congratulations!!! Sorry to hear that you had to have a C-section, but I am glad everything went fine for you. I hope they develop quickly so that you can take them home. Enjoy your new arrivals, can't wait to see the rest of your journal journey. :D

Congrats Theresa! Hope they pack on the pounds real soon so you can take them home. I was lucky my twins came out full term ( 7 lbs the boy and 6.5 lbs the girl). Because of their size and my tiny size, I had to get C-section. Rest and enjoy your bundles of joy!

Congratulations!!! Thanks for the update and pictures. They are so precious.
