I'm using the Bees Knees files at the moment. I had a whole bunch of layers on my project without any problem. Now I'm in a group of files (individual embelishment files) and they're not showing up as transparent. The background is showing up and I can't seem to get rid of it.
Also, the images I'm adding are showing up all pixilated and funky looking.
I'm relatively knew to scrapboooking and am following the tutorials I've downloaded from this site for PSE 4.0, but I can't seem to get this figured out. Does anyone have any suggestions?
THANKS!

Hmmm. I've used PSE 4 for years, and I'm not sure what problem you're having. Are they showing up like that in PSE4 editor, or in the organizer? Are you using another program to view the files? The viewers on some programs might have trouble reading .png files with transparent backgrounds. I used to see this a lot in Picasa - but it's improved.
But when I brought the images into the editor they were fine.

Hmmm...I'm going to go back through the tutorials. I'm thinking maybe I've missed a step along the way. I love Sundays! I can play with my programs uninterrupted! (and before I know it, the day is gone! LOL)
Thanks

Hi Leah,
With versions of PSE after 5, if you try to drag up from the photobin, it makes the .pngs into Smart Objects and will put the white background in, but that shouldn't be the problem if you are using version 4. Do you drag files up from the photobin, or over from one file to the other in the workspace? Have you tried doing File>Place? If not, try that and see if you still get the white background. Sorry I can't be of more help.
