April 1St - Thursday Challenge

So we'll start our day with a bit of history BUT I'm sure it will definitely go downhill from here:

April Fools' Day or All Fools' Day is a holiday celebrated in various countries on April 1.

The day is marked by the commission of hoaxes and other practical jokes of varying sophistication on friends, family members, enemies, and neighbors, or sending them on a fool's errand, the aim of which is to embarrass the gullible.

Traditionally, in some countries, such as the UK, Australia, and South Africa the jokes only last until noon, and someone who plays a trick after noon is called an "April Fool".

Elsewhere, such as in France, Ireland, Italy, South Korea, Japan, Russia, The Netherlands, Brazil, Canada and the U.S., the jokes last all day.

The earliest recorded association between April 1 and foolishness can be found in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales (1392).

My challenge for you today is to scrap an April Fools prank OR just some photos of people acting foolish. I'll be back with mine a little later!

Need some items to help complete your layouts, how about:

ScrapSimple Layer Your Own Brushes: Cheeky Monkey

Funny Face Add-ons Embellishment Mini

Brush Set: Emotions - Girls Biggie

Assemble Your Own: Monkeys Biggie

Post your layouts here!

Totally forgot to create a link yesterday when I posted my LO. Ha ha, anyway its called "The Prank". It was a picture my brother took with his camera phone, of his boss's door right before he came back from lunch. I had some better ideas for was to accent the picture better, but at the moment I didn't have any of the elements to create that look.

It looks like you replied to your post, instead of edit, but hey - it worked. You posted a link and it will only get easier from now on. Great layout - lots of fun embellishments. :-)

I just commented on yours, Heather - you have me completely puzzled and curious - do tell!

I guess I didn't do it very good. Check it out again - I've answered your question there. :-)

Our daily challenges are always open and without deadlines so members can post layouts for them anytime. It makes it a good place for new members to find "scrapping prompts" if they need a place to start.

Great layouts everyone!
