Making A Bandana Pattern?

We took the kids to see Pirates of the Caribbean yesterday. My DD dressed in pirate clothes. Black shirt, black capris, high black boots and a red bandana. (BTW she is 7, so she was able to pull it off!)
Being the good doobie digi-scrapper that I am ( :P ) I snagged some pics before we left. Too cute!
I want to do a LO of her, and am looking for a bandana pattern/texture for PS.
I searched online for an hour and then thought it might be easier for me to just scan the bandana she wore?
How do you think that will come out? Or if anyone knows of where I can fine a pattern or texture for it, I'd use that too. I did a search here for bandana and only a few kits (cowboy biigie for ex) came up.

TIA

Will this one work? It's the american Quilt Biggie Collection by Amanda McGee

You could scan the bandana! I think scanned in fabrics give a very interesting background and then it means a little something to you at the same time as it was the actual bandana she wore! Having said that... I love Amanda's Paisley Background in the American Quilt Collection! hehe.

I ended up scanning the bandana. It took no time at all to make it into a paper. I could have saved lots of time and effort if I had just done that in the beginning.
I scanned it, cropped a 6" x 6" square. Copied that and flipped it to make a 12 x 12. Voila! Then I made it into a template and recolored one pink.

I hope I don't sound like I am bragging but I get all excited when I figure out how to do something on my own. :D
