My current fav is dark chocolate covered almonds.

I have a baggie of them in my studio, but I do have to get up from my computer and go to the closet to get a few.

I'd have to say chocolate and coffee would be the hardest for me to give up. I have, but so far, it's never lasted longer than a few months.

I've never smoked or anything, but I seriously think my Diet Coke addiction would be stronger and harder to break than nicotine.

Also love chocolate - I usually have a little every day!

I'm with you, Valerie. I love dark chocolate. I get cravings for Reisens.

I am also addicted to reality shows. You will find me sitting on my bed with my laptop most evenings, working on Scrap Girls to the sound of whatever reality show happens to be on. I'm too busy to watch them so I have them as background sound. What's up with that?

I'm addicted to my email, that's for sure! Gotta check it every chance I get to see if I have any new customers!!

I'm also, always have been, always will be, addicted to dark chocolate! I keep a bag of dark chocolate hershey kisses in my freezer (love them frozen!) and have a couple every day when I come home from work. The awful thing is that I just got some for the freezer at work! ack!!!

The computer! Actually, I did an online test to see if I had an online addiction, and I guess I don't. The experts say that if you can't go without, if you avoid family responsibilities or turn down real-life things to be online, then you're addicted.
I just have no life much of the time, so I go online, but if something beckons, I'm gone!

Coffee is another thing I don't like going without!

How about if you use the computer to avoid your scrap room when you're in a creative rut? I've been doing that all day. Does that mean I'm addicted to the computer or just a procrastinator? I think that participating in mb's and surfing scrapbooking and design sites make me "feel" like I'm doing something productive. Oh well, tomorrow's another day!

Karla, I've been doing the same thing, so no, it just means you're a procrastinator!

I actually did get a couple little things done, but they need to dry now! Oh, and I watched a movie with my son. Hmm, maybe that stuff is dry now?

Books.

It's a horrible habit. I'm just going to have to stop reading one of these days. :> Or maybe not!

ohhh, books is another addiction. My bookshelves are full. I feel richest when I have a pile of new books just waiting to be read.

Just finished Oryx and Crake by Margaret Atwood.

Am on a total Robin Hobb kick---the perfect summer fantasy/weird books. Fun to read, great story, intrigue, magic and I can't put them down. Recommended by a friend, I never would have selected them on my own. Start with the first series of 3, the FarSeer series, them progress to the 3 Liveship series and now the big story is all nicely coming together in the Tawny Man series. Still have one more book to go.

Valerie, the Robin Hobb books sound right up my alley. I'm another one addicted to buying books, and reading them some day. DH and I are the type that can spend the day in Borders just being surrounded by books. Oh, and coming out having spent a pretty penny!

For me it's the computer; crafts; genealogy; instant messaging; the telephone; retail therapy; books (especially craft books, Sci-Fi and Fantasy like the Dragonlance books) jokes; DIY/Computer/Craft/Book/Junk shops. Thankfully I don't smoke and rarely drink or I'd be in trouble there too! I think I better stop! :dancingcow: :dancingcow:
