I would really like to make my husband a video of photos set to music, slide show basically, for his 40th birthday. I found a great deal on a refurbished iPod Nano and I want to put the video on it for him.

If you have done something like this before and know what software to use that would be great. It needs to be cheap as possible and easy for a first user to do. Any advice?

TIA!

Trish

I'm afraid I'm no help, Trish, but I remember Bobbie (bjc) talking about this last week at the MAD Scrappers meetup. She is sure to see this and come to your aid!

I think this is a wonderful idea and I know he will love your thoughtfullness and talent in putting this gift together for him!

You don't by chance use a Mac do you? iMovie comes included on all Apple computers and I think it's pretty easy to figure out.

Trish I have done this on the imovie and it is so much fun. Looks so cool and it really is soooooo easy. The only thing I never got to work was when i burnt it to disc it would not work on other computers. I did it for my work place of christmas. I work in a rest home and they couldn't play it on their computer. I never got that sorted out but you will really enjoy the ease of imovie.

Let me know if you have any questions. It's been awhile, but I have made several short photo/music movies like you're describing.

I made mine on Windows Movie Maker; but I guess that won't work on a Mac....it was easy though - good luck!
