I am expecting my first grandchild...its a girl! At a website called "Log Your Memory", there is a product called "Baby's First Year". It is a very well thought out compilation and based on squares. The scrapbook has pages to record all the milestones in a unified manner. It is however designed for glueing in printed pictures. The book is available for purchase as a hardcopy, but also as a PDF. Their idea is that you would print out the PDF and use it to glue in the pics.

Is it possible to use a PDF to scrap digitally? IS this like using it for a sketch? Do you know of any 'Baby Albums' which are available for digital scrapping?

I would appreciate advice from anyone who has done this type of project.
Thanks,
candyK

You can bring .pdfs into Photoshop and Photoshop Elements, so you should be able to use them.

I have never tried using one digitally, but I do know Pat is right it can be brought into Photoshop so it should work. Congrats on your first Grandchild. How exciting.

Congratulations on your grandchild! There are several baby album templates in the boutique. A few come in album packs which have a collection and extra embellishments too. I've included some links for you. There are many baby themed collections as well as an easy page album where all you need to do is drop in your photos and add some journaling. If you do a search for "Baby" (in quotes) you will get quite a few baby themed products. Have fun!

Many pdfs have a low resolution, so I would check that out first.

Welcome and congratulations on your first grandchild - I do know that pdf's can be brought into Photoshop for sure but as Gayle said, the resolution is low - I would play around with it first before getting in too deeply doing it that way.

Hi ladies... just to let you know, the PDFs of all downloadable products at Log Your Memory are 300 dpi, so if you have the patience to work with each page separately via Photoshop, quality should not be a problem. :)

Thanks for taking time to advise me. The product I am looking at (Baby's First Year) is designed more to collect ideas/memories to scrap later--so you don't forget. I was trying to use it more as a sketch--and still might! This is my DDs first and probably only child.
