Guest Student4Life
I am doing a training session for work colleagues in a month. During the summer we have sessions that are completely unrelated to our actual work as an attempt to help eachother destress a bit. Last year I did a session on paper crafts. It was only an hour but I went over some ideas on scrapbooking as well as card making, just the real basics. Well this year they've asked me to do it again but just on card making. Any ideas for some simple cards that can be made in a group and don't take that much time (I only have an hour again)?
brandiev
I think the easiest cards would be all-occasion cards -- have the main part of the card already cut, as well as several squares of different colors in two or three different sizes. Then an assortment of stickers, diecuts, or embellishments. They can take the card paper, fold it, then take two or three squares they like, stack 'em (mat them), glue them together, stick a sticker or whatever in the middle. Glue this whole thing onto the front of the card. You could also have some ribbon handy for them to perhaps add a bow or tie to the card (make sure you have pop-dots or a good adhesive if doing this). Guest sfcgijill
Mebbe throw a rubber stamp or two in there? If you do, I would suggest using dye inks or markers, and don't even address embossing - may be a bit much for a short class, since powders and heat guns add to supplies and mess. Guest Zevin Creations
You can always do a hello card that would incorporate the hello stamp and various shades of paper. And if you want throw in some ribbon. Good luck and congratulations! ZeVin Creations
