I read a review of this book on a mixed media site, and got it out of the library.
The first part is about why it's important for mothers (really anyone) to fit creating art into their lives. It covers the creative process, motivation, and planning. It has "Artist Spotlights" on a number of mothers who fit art into their lives.
The last 2/3 of the book is a 12 week workbook including photography, poetry and mixed media. I found it very inspiring. I'm not planning to buy it, because the workbook portion would take me off into too many new areas I don't dare start! But a number of them could happily include hybrid scrapping. I think it's well worth reading, and may be a good investment for many of you. Anything that gives us permission to include art in our lives is good!

I checked and our library doesn't have this one, but I'll have to check it out at Borders or B & N. Thanks for the recommendation!
