bthornton17
I am moving overseas yet again with the Navy. Thought I would go ahead and upgrade to PSE 8.0 and get set up before the move next week. While looking for instructions I see a lot of negative feelings toward the program. Should I keep it and bite the bullet or stick with PSE 7.0? Afraid to open the program now. Thanks! KayMitch
Hi I have PSE8 on Windows 7 and I am absolutely loving it. I'm not an accomplished digi scrapper yet but I'm really impressed with the program so far. I don't have earlier versions to compare though. Best of luck with your decision. ZachandAvasMom
Honestly, I have had a lot of troube with PSE 8. From not being able to load styles and actions, to having the layer I am working on just vanish off the page! I have writen to adobe with details regarding these kinks and have had no resolution. I finally had to by the graffi program to install styles etc and my layers are still flying off the page at random times! My desktop still has PSE 6 and I use that more often that my laptop with PSE 8.
Smiles
I'm no help on the PSE 8 question, but best of luck with your new move!
lorac
I've been using PSE8 for over a year and I like it. There are some quirks in it, but I'm figuring them out as I go along. It does eat up a lot of memory and so I get the 'not responding' message at times, and that can be frustrating. So I've learned to save my work as often as possible. My favorite was PSE5, and since they don't sell it anymore they won't support it. So if you have problems with PSE5, you are on your own.
