I went with my all time favorite color Purple. I so knew how you hated orange, so I would not go with that, even though I like it, it's still not my favorite. Also like brown as my favorite color. So brown and purple are my choices.

I looked back at my layouts. I think blue & pink are the most common choices, but green is close behind. The only color I tend to avoid is white, except for accents.

My two top favorites are Purple and Orange (all shades of both colors). My next favorites are Green, Brown, Rose, Burgundy, yellow. In other words, all of the Autumn colors and all shades of each color.

Your projects sound interesting, Zaz. Can't wait until you unveil them.

A midnight/navy blue with a bright green such as lime. Enjoying that green and purple are in the lead right now though.

Zaz, I already voted, or I'd vote again to compensate for the orange votes. Orange, tan, khaki and olive look terrible on me (I'm a WINTER.) When I was a scout leader, I got to where I wouldn't look in the mirror when in uniform. A competitor to my company chose orange as their premier color, with gray accents. They've toned it down now, but none of us in my office can go with orange. So I'm with you, but it doesn't do much good.

I had to pick blue and orange (although NOT as a combination lol!) My favorite combo right now is lavender and light green.

A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was,the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove, but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child....

My favorite colors at one time or another throughout my life have been: pink, red, yellow, purple. My favorite color combinations are hot pink/orange/white/black and purple/lime green/navy blue.

blue is my favorite - but I love the idea of salmon or peach with teal - burgandy & teal look great together too - I voted blue & brown though - guess I missed the part that they don't actually need to go together well. LOL
