It is so pleasant when a deliciously cooling breeze kicks up to dissipate the heat of summer while we watch the birds bicker or feed their young at our bird feeders. We use the time to discuss what interests us or try to solve whatever problems we have. It is solitude for thinking, enjoying life's little beauties, and connects the two of us.
