I'm in the mood to have some fun and so I decided to start a game. The rules are very simple.

1. Answer this question by replying to this post: What is your favorite summer-time activity?

2. Entries must be posted before Midnight, Monday, July 19, 2010.

3. One entry per person.

The winner will be chosen with the aid of a random number generator and will be posted on Tuesday.

Good luck!

Swimming, I love the water!!! Living in AZ makes it hard to do much outside in the heat (104 at 11;30am)

so water is the greatest!!!

My favorite summertime activity is getting to see my grandson more and taking him on vacation with us to Myrtle Beach. It's his favorite. Every year we ask him where he wants to go on a summer vacation and its always Myrtle Beach, SC. Also he will be in a karate competition, I can't wait to see how he does.

I always like summer because that ment my kids would be out of school for the summer and I could spend more time with them doing what ever came up that day. I don't know who looked more forwart to summer , me or them . My kids are grown now and has moved on with thier own life now , How I miss those days when they where small. Time gos by sooo fast.

Thank you Ro:)

I love summer, it's my favorite season! My favorite activity would be going to the beach, taking pictures and imagining getting them printed to hang on my walls, but ahhh the feeling of a cool shower after a day at the beach is the best!

I live in S. Florida, that being said...I only go out if I HAVE to. Temperature at 95 and humidity at 100%, my hair is a frizz ball and my make-up just runs of my face. Not a pretty picture. So I do what everyone up north does in the winter...I scrapbook indoors in blessed air-conditioning! All day if I'm lucky! I've gotten a lot of work this summer. Now if you had asked me what I like to do in the winter...

Spending time at the beach - has to be the ocean. I can feel the stress drain from me the moment I take my first breath of ocean air. What better way to rejuvinate body and soul than to spend time listening to the waves, playing in the water, reading a good book and people watching!

My favorite summertime activity is escaping to the pool with a good book (or a trashy romance novel, depending on my mood! LOL) and reading! I especially love getting in the water and reading, standing at the side. Many of my books have a few splashed pages now!

I am off for the summer since I work in a school, so my favorite summertime activity is planning all my summertime activities!! I divide my day up so that I can accomplish everything I want to do: work stuff (housecleaning) and play stuff (scrapbooking, photography, reading). I go crazy with all the time that a day provides me. I am lucky to be able to create my summer "schedule".

My favorite summertime activity is spending time with my 2 yellow labs (playing ball), brushing my cat (boy does he shed) and riding my horses, the newest is a thoroughbred adopted from the race track last year who is so sweet and appreciative to be "rescued". :newbie:
