jacee
Thanks everyone for the replys to my last post about buying a laptop, I was thrilled that you were happy to help, some fabulous answers, I enjoyed reading them. Now for another question, I've been looking at the laptops and I zoomed in on this HP one, can you tell me if this would be a good one to purchase? Sara Arell
Sounds good, Jacee - but I don't know enough about PCs to really comment on it - did you look at Macs at all? I'm a Mac user and can tell you all about them if that would help. Sounds to me as if this computer has everything you need for sure though - and if it's in your price range and you like it, I would go for it. Wish I could be of more help, but I am sure some other PC user will come along and give you some good advice.
Burnsie
I owned an HP laptop that died two years after I bought it. My husbands is less than 3 years old and it just died too. I liked it when it worked, but HP laptops don't have a strong performance record in my home!
Heatheranne
I have my second HP Laptop! My first one is still going but it's six years old and too small for photo software to work fast enough for me. I now have a quad core HP and loving it. The duel core that you are looking at looks big enough and fast enough to run your software. It's not a total screamer, but it's definitely a good computer from what I see. Computers are like everything else, sometimes you get a lemon, but I've had very good fortune with HP. I'm not familiar with the AMD Turion Processor, but from what I remember reading about it, it's one of AMD's new processor's. It might be an idea to google it and see what kind of information you can find. You should be able to find forum's that you can read. If people have had problems with those processors there'll likely be something about them. :-)
