Hi Everyone!

I am a scrapper who loves to print my pages in photo books... I have used Shutterfly and I wasn't very impressed by the print quality of some of the photos, and I wasn't a big fan of the gutter between each page. I recently heard about Adoramapix and I really want to try them out. Some of the things that I like about them is that they don't press print the books and print their books on Fuji Crystal Archive photo paper. The thing that I like the best is that there is NO gutter, and that the books lay completely flat! I would love to do two page spreads without a gutter!!! So, I wanted to poll the group to see if anyone has used this company and if you have, do you like the quality of the books? I want some advice before I get too excited!! :)

Thanks!!!

I don't think I have heard anything about them yet, but it will be intersting to see what others have to say. :)

Chantel,
I have not used this company but I am certainly going to look into it now - right now my printers are still arguing with my computer and they are not speaking to each other; therefore, I can't print anything out as I usually do and i have volumes of layout that need to be put in scrapbooks - I am waiting to move my computer from it's little tiny office into a bigger one before I get my $85.00 per hour techie over here to figure out what's wrong - I would be interested in hearing more about this company too - going to google it now just to have a peek.

I've never had books printed there, but I have had photos printed and they do a good job.

My understanding is that Shutterfly is a press printed album and the Adorama Pix book will be a real photo paper album. There is no comparison between press printing and photo printing in my opinion... photo printing always looks SO much better!

Adorama Pix is a Prosumer type of lab, lots of pros use them so I would definitely give them a shot. I am going to get one done there as soon as I finish last year's album!

Thanks, Purplcat! I appreciate the info! Let me know when you get one printed there! I would love to hear your thoughts. I am going to be printing an album with them in the next few weeks, and once I get it, I will let you all know how it looks!
