LINK: Two page
We had had a challenge during Staycation to scrap a "nature" page for High Noon Crop. I knew I wanted to do our recent vacation to Montana, and found this panorama scene in my pics. The "VIEW" was too big to squeeze on one page, so it evolved to a two pager. (That also solved my "title" dilemma... I couldn't decide which name to use for ONE page, so now there were TWO!)
The 2009 convention alpha and paper were perfect for the title & background, so I played around with the alphas awhile and ended up stroking them on a separate layer. If I put the title over the top of the page, it ruined the "view", so it went sideways (MONTANA) at the end of the right page. the paper curled edge revealed the other "end" for balance. The other title was an idea I had to showcase the BIG SKY...
The tour was one amazing and surprising event for our week in the Montana mountains, and the page was so fun to put together, as I recalled the highlights of that sweet day in the mountains. We love to ride the Jammers thru these mountains on the Continental Divide. I hope you can try this vacation some time! The driver points out interesting highlights, while WE enjoy the spectacular views... breathtaking on every curve!
Thank you for enjoying our trip with us! I love to scrap my memories (while I still have them).
