[Arizona Girl]

A couple of years I stumbled upon this series while doing an internet search on Perry Mason. The first book in the series is called "I Dreamed I married Perry Mason". Now I think the title could have been better, but it did its job- caught my attention and I knew I just had to read it.

For those of you who know nothing about this series- Susan Kandel is masterful at writing in the style of famous mystery authors past. In each story, Cece, a writer who write biographies of dead mystery authors, is investigating the author's life when she steps into a mystery that could be right out of the pages of one of their books. Its masterful. For a mystery buff, like myself, its all I ever wished for.
