I am suddenly into doing yoga again. Last time I did it, it was 5 years ago and I got pregnant( after 7 years of trying) So I stopped and then never got back into it and life got too busy. But now my kids will both be in school all day I thought I would take up lessons again. Does anyone here practise? Just curious.

I did for a while in college, off and on. I do it by myself, mostly, even though my sweet across-the-street neighbor is a wonderful instructor and wants me to come to her classes! I just don't feel comfortable with doing physical stuff with strangers, you know?

I do love it though.

Off and on. I have a good friend who is an instructor and I can never make it to her classes because of my work schedule. I have several videos that I use at home, will be doing daily practice for a few weeks, then sort of drift away.

I do some yoga style exercise on the Wii Fit, but I have done Pilates and really enjoy both. There is such a great relaxation found in these exercises, love that.

I have done some Yoga, but it's been awhile ago - I remember that it helped me relax and it helped me lose all of those "thingys" wandering around in my head that were worrying me sometimes - my instructor was very big on finding peace and keeping ourselves free of stress and i enjoyed my Yoga lessons - You may have inspired me to give it a try again.

No yoga for me...just never have. But for you, just be careful. Unless you WANT another baby now! LOL!

I was just looking at some DVDs last night. I'd like to do it, but I would do it at home too.

I totally recommend it. I have no been going regularly since Jan of this year and love it. I go to a Yoga centre and they have all different styles. I right now stick with Hatha. I do like it and sometimes I even sweat from it!! I did practise at home first but now I never practice at home any longer.

I'm another off and on yogi. I prefer classes (just because I get to leave the house!) but its hard to get out! I also do Wii Fit and some DVDs. I always work up a sweat doing it! I once had an instructor that would get us doing downward dogs reps and I would be WINDED afterwards! The only bad part to classes was that I usually fell asleep during shavasana... Snoring in front of an entire class is NEVER cool!

I love yoga. When my shoulder is better, I'm going to take it up again!

At least the instructor knew you were relaxed;) lol
I enjoy yoga, but my only foray into it has been the Beachbody P90X and X2 videos. I will say I enjoy the physical aspect more than the relaxing aspect, but that may be because I haven't received instruction in "real" yoga and all the purposes of it.
