nuhobee4me
I just took this picture today and really love it. When I enlarge the image it looks great. But as a small image (transformed in PS3 to smaller size to fit quick frame) the highlights in the eyes look strange. Is this the B/W equivalent of red eye? Thanks! BarbaraC1977
Christy, I'm no expert, but the eyes just look "sparkley" to me. I think they look adorable.

DaveUK
Hi Christy! I think the highlights look fine. If there was red-eye, the pupils of the eye would be grey in a black and white image. I think you've just caught some wonderful highlights! You don't say if this a conversion from a colour original, but if so, the highlights will just be that little brighter as the contrast is higher in a black and white image (generally)! tinkerbell11
Dave gave a great answer and I agree that it is a great pic, just looks like they have sparkles in their eyes!
nuhobee4me
It was taken in B/W, I like portraits in that contrast. I usually start out in color and then finish up with that. I still think it looks different when it's sized way down so I'm going to change my plans on the layout and keep the picture bigger. Thanks for taking time to look and get back with me!
