Ok - An Odd Question...

Every school year I make my kids' teachers an album at the end of the year and this is a gifts so I know it does not apply. Now last year I also made 16 additional albums for the parents of some of the kids. Now, I didn't not get paid for the time it took or anything only the cost of supplies.

Now since discovering digital scrapping, I am looking at going this direction this year. If I am only charging the parents the print costs and the price of the albums and I would not make a penny, do I have to get the commercial version on the stuff I would like to use? If so I may not open up to the parents to purchase because wuite honestly I don't know that I could afford it then but thought I would check.

Thanks!
Dawn

I think it's that yeah you would have to, because it's not a gift if they are paying for the supplies but not the cost of the digital kit, if you get commercial for the kit you use though you can get the parents to split that cost between them right? Because commercial means you don't have to buy the kit each time etc....

I may be wrong lol, but that's my take on it :)
