I'd love to try making glitter like that used in this collection:

Are there any tutorials around?

I will be honest, I find the actions and styles so easy to use that I have never tried to make my own! Maybe one of the other ladies or gents can help you out! I don't know if there are some filters/or actions already loaded in PSE that will simulate this?!

I have no idea how to make glitter. I don't think there's a tutorial here. Here's my tutorial for making glitter:
  • Head to the Boutique
  • Go to SS Tools > Styles
  • Purchase one or more of the great glitter styles
  • Load them into software
  • Make LO
  • Add glitter style on desired elements (adjusting with Scale Effects as needed)

LOL! That's how I make glitter :D

Yep - that's how I make glitter too.
You might try a dynamic brush like Dynamic Digital Scrapbooking Brush Set: Confetti 6301 Mini or Dynamic Digital Scrapbooking Brush Set: Twinkling and then add the glitter style to that.

I make it the same way as all the others here and it always turns out so well- LOL! I was reminded of the confetti brush which Amy mentioned, with a glitter style applied, when I saw the layout you linked.

A style is a product created to be installed into your photo editing program and used to make the layouts look more realistic. The boutique has literally hundreds of them...Everything from chocolate to glitter to water to ice to paper to metal and anything else you can imagine. They are absolutely wonderful!

The styles work in Photoshop and PSE. You load them into your program (there are instructions with the products) and can use them by just clicking on the specific styles in your styles panel. There is a wide variety of styles in the boutique. I apply them to text, brushwork, scrapsimple papers, and some are designed to give great photo effects. If you look through the product images and sample layouts, you can get a good idea of ways you can use styles on your pages.
If you happen to be a PSP user, there is a section with scripts that can work much the same way.

My Gallery I scrap with Photoshop CS6, but can help with older versions: PS7, CS2 & CS4.
