Help
Hello! Is it possible to create a type path in PSE 6 or 8? I made a paw print shape. I would like to be able to type test just in the large "palm" part of the print.

As far as I know, you cannot create your own text paths in PSE. But you can import and use already created text paths. I don't see any paw print ones, but we do have lots of text paths already created in the Boutique:
ScrapSimple Type Shapes: Halloween 8301
ScrapSimple Type Shapes: Stars 8301
ScrapSimple Type Shapes: Alphabet
ScrapSimple Type Shapes: Circles 8301 Biggie
ScrapSimple Type Shapes: Flowers 8301

Hi. I have PSE 8 (Mac). To the best of my knowledge you cannot create type paths in PSE. There are several Type Paths in the Boutique though. HTH.

As far as I know, it is NOT possible in PSE. Maybe one of the designers would create a type path in that shape. I know we have a few already for use in PSE in the boutique....maybe you can adapt one of those?

I keep hoping with each new version of PSE that they will add that feature but I've been told it is highly unlikely. But Adobe did add Layer Masks to PSE 9, so who knows what might happen in the future.

Thanks everyone! I thought that was the case, but I thought I would ask. I will just uses spaces to get it to work with a rectangular text box. I own a few of the paths for PSE. Turning the heart upside down may work!
