Each day this week I will post a task and by the end of the week you will have a layout done. Post layouts in the 6th anniversary party gallery for a chance to win a cool prize!

Here is Monday's task.

Choose a layout or product that uses 6 or more photos to scrap lift, start a new document in your software and add the "blocks" you will clip your photos to. You can use the template you choose or create your own if you are going to scrap-lift. Post a link to the product or layout here in this thread.

Good challenge, Dee! I don't know about you, but I always have tons of photos -- I love layouts with lots of photos! I can't wait to see what people come up with!

Great challenge, Dee. I chose ScrapSimple Digital Layout Templates: Squares and Strips 2 and plan to use the #2 layout, the one with Lily on the purple background. I can't link to the original layout, Details of You, in Caroline's gallery. The picture is missing, I think since the server move. I will contact Caroline and ask her to re-upload the beautiful layout so I can link for a scraplift.

I always have a ton of pics too - finding 6 that need scrapping should be no trouble at all. LOL I think the majority of my gallery has 6 photos or more anyway.

not sure I will use these exact shades, but this is the general direction I am headed color-wise. The silver represents a metal element so bring in the silver/gray.

I would love to do the challenge, but I am a complete dunce today. Where do I find the color palette and how do I post it here? Are we supposed to post our layouts already or does that come later. I have posted two already. I don't know if I understood the challenge properly. Someone please help and excuse the dumb questions.

The way I understand it is we'll have one LO done at the end of 6 days.

As for getting the palette, I right clicked on the sample, used the color picker and paint bucket to create my own palette on the sample using colors in the six photos I chose yesterday, then uploaded it to my post. At the bottom of the post screen there is a place for uploading attachments. I think you need to be Full Editor to do this.

It seems as if I misunderstood the game. Thanks for answering. Does this mean that one layout must have 12 photos and all those colors so far and not 6 layouts by the end of the week. Must I go delete the layouts that I put on?

No, I don't think you have to delete anything, but Dee'll be by soon, I'm sure. We were to pick a LO or template that used 6 photos. Then we were to choose our 6 photos. Now we choose a palette of 6 colors. Tomorrow we'll be told to pick something else--papers, embellies, etc. We may be told how much to journal. Then when we're done we'll have a masterpiece (I hope!)

I'm not real positive, but I think we are completing one layout step-by-step each day, with 6 or more photos on it. At the end of the week, we will have a completed layout to post. (At least this is how I understand it and it's what I've been doing)
