Is there a setting I can change? Picassa runs a full scan of my contents whenever I open it, and I have to wait on the program to be able to start scrapping. Why is this happening? is there any thing I can change? It isn't just after i add some new goodies--its any time I open it. Very irritating!

Mine just started doing that the other day. I'd love to hear if anyone knows anything about this. ..... will be watching this thread.

Mine is doing ok. You might want to check Tools>Folder Manager and see if it maybe reset itself to scan your entire computer. I have just certain folders marked to scan always.

I know that mine just updated to a new version... maybe that's why? (It needs to "refresh" its list?)

I just installed an update and it did a whole scan too. Not sure if that's what is happening or not for you.
