Hello ALL~

I am pulling my hair our trying to figure out how to blend 2 digital papers in Photoshop. I have Photoshop CS3 and Elements 9. I am designing a card and would like to use 2 different papers but when I bring the 2 papers together you can tell where they meet. Am I making any sense? Can someone please tell me how to blend these 2 papers?

Thanks a bunch!!
Jamie

Oh! I know the BEST thing for you to use! :) You need Brandy Murry's Background Blenders. There are two different sets....

Background Blenders

Background Blenders II

Some of the sample layouts show them being used with photos, but they also work well with papers. Instructions are included with the files. Good luck!

I love those background blenders that Janine linked to!!!

Another option - if you are just trying to blend the area where two papers overlap, you could take a grunge or soft-edge brush, lower the opactity, and brush over the top paper...this will create a faded transition from the top paper to the one below it.

I use them all the time! I especially love them for blending a photo into a paper, but here is a good, clear example of where I used one to blend two papers together:
