During the month of December, all chats and challenges will be a little sweeter. Each time you attend a chat and post a layout for the chat's challenge or post a layout for a Message Board challenge, you will be entered into a weekly drawing for a $10 Gift Certificate to the Scrap Girls Boutique!

To participate, upload a layout to the Message Board Gallery and post a link to your layout in the corresponding Message Board thread by Saturday at Midnight MT. Each week, the Welcoming Committee will compile all of the participating names and do a random drawing for the $10 Gift Certificate. That's right - ONE $10 Gift Certificate for EACH WEEK of December! Winners will be announced in the following Saturday's Newsletter.

Here are the deadlines for each week:
December 4th, Midnight MT
December 11, Midnight MT
December 18, Midnight MT
December 25th, Midnight MT
December 31st, Midnight MT

No need to post here just post your layout links in each challenge thread you upload for. We will compile the names for each weeks drawings based on the links in the threads.

If we post more than one layout per week, do we get our names entered more than once a week also? This sounds like fun either way, lots of incentive to spend the month scrapping!

Your name will go in as many times a week as you upload. You could do every day's challenge as well as every chat challenge and have an entry for every one of them.

Question - what about more than one entry per challenge? Is every upload eligible? Like for the ATC challenge. Some of us do more than one ATC for the challenge each month.

Where are these stars suppose to be? Are they there. I've spend a lot of time looking and can't find a single star. Can I get some help here? I figured some of my thoughts on what the product was could be wrong, but I can't find it anywhere.

Hey Tas, In past treasure hunts, I have found stars located at the bottom of the product pages. They are identical to the one shown in the newsletter, and they really are hard to find. The star itself is easy to spot, it's just finding the right product page that's difficult. HTH

i am confused ...where do i upload my lo to? what gallery? i already uploaded the journaling chat to the journaling gallery..is that right? or is there a special gallery for the sweet december..thanks for any help

From what I understand, by reading the first post in this thread, is that you upload the layout to the gallery that you're doing the layout for - as you have done.

I saw somewhere, that the team members will be keeping track of all the layouts uploaded to the various challenges and the selections will be made weekly from the layouts that are submitted that week. HTHs :-)

I think though, that in addition to uploading your lo to the appropriate challenge/chat gallery, you also need to go into the corresponding thread and post a link to the lo... I think that's how they are keeping track of the Sweet December layouts...?

Correct. When you complete a layout for the challenge/chat, post your layout in the gallery corresponding to that challenge (Life Moments, Color Challenge, General Challenges, etc). Then, post a link to your layout in the thread for that challenge. Once we have your linked MB post, you will be entered in the challenge. Simple as that!

I am confused about the time though - by midnight MT I get - & I posted my sketch challenge layout for last week at 11:05 my time, which was 10:05 MT according to my computer - but the time stamp on the gallery page is 12:05... so I am confused...

I think that the time stamps in the gallery and the MB are in EST, so you should be fine and your layout will count as an entry!

Maybe I'm confused or just lost? The OP says each week winners will be announced in the following Saturday's Newsletter, but I haven't seen any winners listed yet in either last Saturday's or today's newsletter. Can someone direct me to a specific place in the NL where they are? TIA
