For this month’s contest we want you to scrap a layout using a Christmas carol or Hanukkah song as inspiration. You can use just the title or include some of the verses. If the song has a particular memory or meaning for you, journal about that. Share with us a favorite holiday song. Post your layouts in the December Gallery before mid-night Mountain Time December 31st. Be sure to list the credits for the items you used in the description area or under the EXIF Properties. We will choose two winners who will each receive a $10 gift certificate to the Scrap Girls Boutique!

Great challenge. I've got a couple of ideas of songs and Carols to use. This will be a very busy month for me, so I don't know if I'll get a layout done in time. I'm going to be in Los Angeles for Christmas and will be gone from December 15th to December 28th. I'll see what I can do.

I absolutely love Mary Did You Know, as performed by Kenny Rogers and Wynonna, so that is what I used for my layout. TFL.

What a great idea! There are so many holiday songs to choose from. One of my favorites is "Where are you Christmas" by Faith Hill.
One line in the song stands out to my -it is perfect for every day, not just Christmas.

I am working on a scrapbook of my nephew Ryan as my sisters Christmas gift.

Thanks for this challenge. I had such a hard time picking a song. If you assign me a song I can make a LO to go with it, but having to decide- well I just can't make up my mind. The other night we watch Muppet Christmas Carol and I knew exactly what my LO should be,

Oops, almost forgot to link! Silent Night.

Our church choir sings the most amazing rendition of Silent Night I have ever heard. I look forward to it every Christmas Eve. This photo and night reminded me of it.
