I tried a new cookie recipe last year, and it turned out so delicious! I even took pictures of it. But I don't want to duplicate it again this year if that was my card last year

I need to look back at which recipes I submitted last year....

I would love to play along too - I am thinking rum balls... if that's okay (they are quite good). Not technically a cookie, but a holiday treat nonetheless.

I didn't have a photo either so I "made" some. Can't wait to see all of them, I was about to post mine but re-checked the rules so I will wait. LOL

Good to know we don't have to have a picture of our actual recipe all made on the card; I've decided at the last minute that I'm going to participate, but there's no WAY I could get these crazy cookies made tonight before the deadline! =)

I'm glad to know I'm not the only last-minute-lizzie. It was a good thing I had planned to get mine created today since I was thinking we had until Saturday at midnight, not Friday. It pays to pay attention to the instructions the first time, huh? I sent mine to Brandie a little bit ago. I did make a batch of the cookies yesterday so I could take pics. Mmmm, good stuff. Only baking I've gotten done so far this holiday. I'm going to try to scale back this year. DH and I definitely don't need left overs hanging around after Christmas.

Well, I managed to get one done and sent. And no photo. But hopefully you'll be able to read it and I haven't made any serious errors. I haven't made this recipe, it was one of Mom's, but she made it every year. I may try it tomorrow. If it doesn't work, blame my mom. LOL.

Just sent mine!! My recipe is for "Christmas Cookies". This was a recipe I got from my MIL the first Christmas we were married. They are soft sugar cookies, and are sooo yummy. Not sure why they are called Christmas Cookies! I make them other times of the year, but use different cookie cutters.

Oh dear I don't know if I got in on time or not but I have sent it away. Just crazy crazy time here. Finally got to sit down and get the card made then when I went to send it the internet decided "no I don't want to work just now" then just as it came back up I got a visitor where you couldn't say excuse me for just a minute while I send my recipe to America!! So I have finally got it through but not too sure if it was on time or not. Oh well will just have to sit and wait to see if I get an email from Brandie or not!!

Everyone is fretting over photos and I cheated and used the photo from the website I got the recipe from. We've made these before...but no photos and the photo on the site was too cute.
