I bought this product from the scrapgirls botique "SNU_SSEmb_ChristmasPhotoCollage" and I'm confused with how to use it. How do I insert picutres, change colors, etc.? I'm not sure I posted this in the right section, but thought I'd start here. I've done plenty of layouts with regular kits with papers and embellishments, etc., but I'm not sure how to use this and others like it that I've seen. I hope this makes sense and that someone can help! Thanks!

Hi and welcome to SG! What a fun Template you have. I don't have this particular one, but I love templates and use them all the time.

There's a great FREE eBook in the Boutique that will give you lots of help. It's the ScrapSimple Instructions Handbook. I it you'll find instructions on how to use every type of ScrapSimple product in many of the the different software programs (PSE, PSCS and some PSP). The instructions for using templates start on page 46. It uses a different template, but the idea is the same.

I hope that helps you. If not, keep asking! Glad you're here. Please post your project when you're done if you feel comfortable doing so. We all love to ooooo and aaaaah over things! :)

Another good one that I use a lot, is Ctl J. This duplicates anything. It's one of the short cuts that I use the most after Ctrl G. Glad you got it right.

Glad you got it to work! Besides Ctrl+G and Ctrl+J (my 2nd and 3rd most favorite shortcuts), my all-time favorite shortcut is Ctrl+Z (that's the UNDO shortcut). I use it so often my Z key is fading! ;)

Each nugget builds on the next. Soon you WILL be an expert!

Welcome! I'm glad you got some tips to get you going. That is such a cute template! You can fill the blocks with photos, or, I've seen some nice layouts with bits of pretty paper or embellishments in a few of them. I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with this.
