I'm a little confused...I'm assuming that digi-scrappers print out their layouts for albums, right? If that's the case, then why do we need both kinds of kits, i.e. regular digital and printable? Sorry if that's a dumb question. I'm still new at this digital stuff. Thanks for the info.

In an effort to help paper scrappers get more comfortable with the idea of buying, printing and using online elements, the printable kits are all in JPG format which is more familiar to most people. The digital kits keep some of the files (the ones needing tranceparency) in PNG format. I would guess that most of, but not all, digital scrappers print their files, but that really doesn't have much to do with it. PNG files don't always print correctly (with the transparent areas truly transparent) but are totally necessary for digital scrappers, so thus the two different formats. Paper scrappers COULD make the PNG files print fine by adding a white background layer, but again, Scrapgirls wants to make it as easy as possible so the paper scrappers will feel comfortable and enjoy using our products.
