photomom
It looks like, when using the area inside the frame as a mat for your photo, that the "mat" is rounded or wrapped on the edges giving it a slightly puffy look. Or are my eyes playing tricks on me? How did you do that?
no_idea
Is this the layout you are looking at? Zip Kit: Three Little Words I'm not sure, but if she doesn't see your post you can send her a PM.
April Showers
Since the mat layer looks like it is part of the frame, I'm thinking it is the drop shadow on the photo layer that is making it look that way.

SarahBat
Hi Kathi, I agree with April. It must be the shadows that make it look puffy/wrapped. The blue framed bird print has it's own shadow inside the frame, where the frame meets the bird print. All I did was add a rectangle shape inside the frame(to clip my photo to). And gave the photo a shadow. The shadows are giving that look that you are describing. Sarah
