I am using an embellishment AMC_Gleeful_Emb_Label_SPECIAL that has a wrinkle in it, like crumpled paper. I want to use this as a journaling box. I put text on top of it, but now I want to make the text look like it is on the paper, all crumpled like the paper, rather than floating about it. How do I do that in PSE 6?

im not sure about PSE, dont own it. but change the blending mode on your text. try multiply and move on from there. you may even want to use the multiply layer and change the text color to a little lighter than you originally had it. hope that helps! :)

Hey Girls,
I have lost my instructions on how to use the this: ScrapSimple Tools - Actions: Warped PSE 8201 Mini
I am in PSE 6.
Can anyone tell me how to use this action and what displacement maps are?
Thanks! Nice to be back on the boards, albeit thanks to a nasty virus.... :)

Sorry, but I don't have the warped actions Beth. I just use the crumpled paper styles. Maybe someone else will be along soon with info for you. :)

oh I have to laugh at myself. And you can post this in the newsletter or wherever....
once I saw words like "displacement map" in using this action, I panicked, like I was way in over my head.
Then I dug and dug and dug for my instructions, found them (whew!) and panicked again when I saw it was 15 pages long!
So I pressed on...bound and determined to use this warped action!
So, I followed my directions, 1 - 2 - and DONE! WoW! SO EASY! And I laugh at myself because I should have known it would be...it's Scrap Girls!
Scrap Girls would not give me something unacheivable or so frustrating that I give up! Oh my goodness! Such a silly girl am I to even have worried.....

my journaling looks great!
Thank you!

I just saw it and I'm happy you found the solution and like the results!

The instructions necessary to start the action are simple and short, the rest of the PDF file are tips and techniques, worth the reading as well ;)
