September 1st Challenge Multiple Designers 2 part challenge

This challenge is going to come in two parts. The first part is as follows. You are going to choose collections from 2 or more different designers. Once you’ve chosen your collections you are going to work only with the embellishments for this layout. The object is to marry the elements from different designers collections together to form one cohesive LO. The trick this time is that you must not use any papers from the collections, only embellishments, and any recoloring should be minimal. So, either create a new paper using the embellishments or use a solid background. Now build a layout and see if you can make these different designer’s work blend well. When you’re through, you’ll realize that you can often use elements from different kits together beautifully.
Check out this link for an example of how I blended Durin Eberhardts “Almost Red Embellishments” with Shalae Tippets Elementary Days and Elementary Days 2 Embellishments. Nature's Jewel
If you have any questions, I’ll be back in town on Tuesday the 5th. Have fun! Tune in on the 15th for part two of our challenge! Can’t wait to see everyone’s work. You can upload your challenge Here Make sure you place a link in this thread so that everyone can see what you’ve done.

Gonna give it a go though...may take a few days... hehehe
Some are sharp, some are pretty. Some are dull while others are bright.
Some have weird names. But they all exist nicely in the same box.

I used the Cosmopolitan Slate Collection by Cheryl Barber,
The Frosty Fall Alphabet by Melissa Renfro,
and the Blissed Out Collection by Betsy Lombardi.
And, if ya'll hadn't noticed, this is yet another travel page- Seattle was early August, just before we hit California. I have to say, I love my job- who else will pay me to go from NY to WA to CA to DC in one month!

We want everyone to be able to see your layouts! So post them in the gallery! If you click the word "here" in the last paragraph of the origianl post in this thread, you will be taken to the gallery. Click "new image" and you will be set to post your title, info about the layout, like all of the great stuff used, and them upload your image.
If you have any problems feel free to ask a question, someone willbe able to answer!
BTW, I just love those photos in your LO and the colors are great!

It was interesting how well the Bliss Collection and the Allure Collection went together.
